The phone is only a tool: what matters is what players see, look for and experience together.

Why LamaQuest exists

Treasure hunts have always had the same charm: getting out, searching, talking, discovering a place differently. But they demanded hours of preparation, printed route sheets, manual corrections, and the organiser never knew where each team stood.

LamaQuest was born from the wish to keep that charm while removing the constraints. The organiser places the stages on a map, players join the game with their phone in seconds, and everything that happens on the ground is visible live: points unlocked, answers, the ranking, the twists.

The application is designed, developed and hosted in France, by an independent company. It grows through real games, such as the Chat Perché weekend in Dole, where the public played across the whole town by scanning posters.

Our principles

What guides each of our decisions

The ground comes first

Much of the game is played with eyes up.
