Version in force on 29 October 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group container container-narrow lq-prose is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Purpose and acceptance<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terms govern the use of LamaQuest, a geolocated quiz trail game service, and the sale of credits by Jimmy Cousseau, sole proprietor, SIRET registration in progress (&#8220;the publisher&#8221;). Creating an account, buying credits or taking part in a game constitutes acceptance of these terms. The service is reserved for persons aged <strong>16 or over<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The service<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LamaQuest lets an organiser create trails of questions placed on a map and have players play them in real time, from their phone&#8217;s browser. The organiser account and the creation of trails and questions are free; only players entering a game use credits.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Organiser account<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. You can delete it at any time from the settings; deletion erases your quizzes, questions, games and photos, in accordance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lamaquest.com\/en\/confidentialite\/\">privacy policy<\/a>. An account unused for two years is deleted along with its content and remaining credits, after a warning e-mail sent two weeks beforehand. The publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these terms.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Credits and prices<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>One credit lets one player into one game.<\/strong> A player is one device, however many people play with it. Players present in the lobby are charged when the game is launched, those who arrive later when they enter; the same device is charged only once per game. Launching a game with no players costs nothing.<\/li><li>When the balance runs out, new players wait in a waiting room and enter the game as soon as the organiser buys credits. A player removed by the organiser is not refunded.<\/li><li>Three credits are offered when an account is created, once only; disposable e-mail addresses are not accepted.<\/li><li>Credits are bought in quantities of at least 20, at a unit price that decreases with quantity, shown on the <a href=\"https:\/\/lamaquest.com\/en\/tarifs\/\">Pricing page<\/a> and repeated before payment. The whole order takes the price of the tier reached.<\/li><li>Prices are shown in euros; VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: the price shown is the price paid.<\/li><li>Credits can be used with no time limit for as long as the account exists. They are neither transferable nor exchangeable for money.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Order and payment<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orders are placed from the Billing area of the application: you choose a quantity, check the summary and the total price, then pay by card. Payment is processed by <strong>Stripe<\/strong>; the publisher never has access to your card details. Credits are added to your account as soon as payment is confirmed, and the invoice is available in the Billing area. A business can enter its company name, address and VAT number there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For an event whose attendance is not known in advance, a quote can be requested at <a href=\"mailto:contact@lamaquest.com\">&#099;ont&#097;c&#116;&#064;la&#109;&#097;&#113;&#117;&#101;s&#116;&#046;com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Right of withdrawal<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Credits are digital content supplied without a physical medium. In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, by confirming your purchase you request that they be made available immediately and <strong>expressly waive your right of withdrawal<\/strong> of 14 days; this consent is collected by a checkbox before each payment. Credits already used are not refundable under any circumstances.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Legal guarantees<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). In the event of a defect, write to <a href=\"mailto:contact@lamaquest.com\">&#099;ont&#097;c&#116;&#064;la&#109;&#097;&#113;&#117;&#101;s&#116;&#046;com<\/a>: the publisher will bring the service back into conformity or, failing that, re-credit or refund the credits concerned.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. User content and photos<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quizzes, questions, messages and photos published through the service remain the property of their authors. By publishing content, you guarantee that you hold the necessary rights, that you have obtained the consent of any person recognisable in your photos, and that the content does not infringe any law or any third-party right.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Licence granted to the organiser.<\/strong> By sending a photo during a game, the player grants the organiser of the game a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to use, reproduce and display that photo, including outside the application (report or keepsake of the event).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Technical licence granted to the publisher.<\/strong> You grant the publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence, limited to hosting, technical reproduction, format adaptation and display of the content, solely for the purpose of providing the service.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Prohibited content and moderation<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, infringing, sexual and involving minors, or that invades the privacy of others is prohibited. The organiser has moderation tools (photo validation, removal of players). Any illegal content can be reported to <a href=\"mailto:contact@lamaquest.com\">&#099;ont&#097;c&#116;&#064;la&#109;&#097;&#113;&#117;&#101;s&#116;&#046;com<\/a>; the publisher may remove it and suspend the accounts concerned.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Safety and liability<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LamaQuest is played outdoors, often on public roads. <strong>Each player remains solely responsible for their own safety<\/strong>: they stay aware of their surroundings, follow the highway code and do not enter dangerous or prohibited places. The organiser is responsible for the choice of locations and for the smooth running of their game. The publisher provides a software tool and does not organise games; it cannot be held liable for damage occurring during a game, except in the event of proven fault on its part.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service is provided as is. The publisher endeavours to keep it available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, nor the accuracy of GPS, which depends on the device and the environment.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Personal data<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data processed to provide the service is described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lamaquest.com\/en\/confidentialite\/\">privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Changes to the terms<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The publisher may change these terms. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of purchase; any significant change is notified to organisers by e-mail or in the application.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13. Governing law and disputes<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought before any legal action: write to <a href=\"mailto:contact@lamaquest.com\">&#099;ont&#097;c&#116;&#064;la&#109;&#097;&#113;&#117;&#101;s&#116;&#046;com<\/a>. In accordance with article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers will be able to use a consumer mediator free of charge, whose contact details will be given here once appointed.
